Paris - Sept 2001

I accompanied my mother on a trip to Paris for a work event (Sorrelli trade show called Bijorhca). We left in September, just days before the World Trade Center attacks in New York on 9/11/2001. The journal entry chronicles our visit to the city, but also the eerie feeling of being abroad during such a catastrophic event at home, and our uncertainty about being able to return home as planned.
